The company was established on December 11, 2017. Little did I know the company was already in the making before this date as I was assisting my parents and siblings with the most difficult time of their lives, losing my mom. My mom “Ema” battled melanoma starting in 2006. Ema fought strong and kept her faith her entire journey until she passed in 2015. During that time, I, along with my dad and siblings, assisted Ema with so many daily activities, doctors’ trips, and just keeping her life full of happy moments. Along the way, I found there is great difficulty in balancing a full-time job, taking care of my husband and 2 children back at home without losing focus on my mom’s needs and desires and wanting to do as much as I could for my mom knowing our time was limited. This awareness of difficulty to finding a balance in life and its purpose has also heightened my desire to help others faced with the same issues with their loved ones.

     After Ema passed, I really missed my mom of course, but I also was missing that fulfillment I had that came from spending time with and caring for my ailing mom. The company was created with the purpose of bringing happiness to our clients no matter what their circumstances, no matter where they are in their journey, and we will continue to keep focus on meaningfully touching the lives of every client in the most special unforgettable way that families as well as caregivers will always cherish! Jenncare is a small intimate family-owned business that excels on delivering quality care for parents and grandparents leaving their family feeling the utmost peace of mind.

     We employ caregivers that possess the same desire to serve and care for elders with dignity and respect, allowing them to achieve/possess their independence in a safe environment. Our caregivers have had background checks, drug testing and training and we feel full-heartedly if they are welcome into our family, they will surely be a blessing to yours.

     Each individual is unique and we strive to meet their expectations with utmost compassion and energy. It is also so important that you just have fun! Upon the initial meeting with me you will come to realize that I am trying my absolute best to sponge as much information as I can regarding the likes and dislikes possessed by the oncoming client. I then pass that information on to our caregivers, and that is where the magic begins! Examples of that magic include learning favorite card games, painting, singing, dancing, speaking German, knitting and so much more!

     There are always going to be stressful situations, and I recognize that. My intention is that our caregivers are prepared for each scheduled appointment, going in with a pocket full of ideas on ways to connect with each of our clients, recognizing that each one is unique. Most individuals we care for strive to maintain their independence and it is up to us to support them while keeping them safe.
